Welcome to the Association.

Established in 2018, the Gacha Community Association is the first ever gacha-founded organization. Originally created with the rather naivete and blissful goal of "making the gacha community better", and to campaign against the COPPA / Article 13, and later to protect gachatubers from the "anti gacha community", the Association unfortunately realized that something way worse was coming for the gacha community, that the real dangers were within the community itself. The Gacha Community Association was thus redeclared on September 30th, 2019 as a confederation of gacha groups around the world organized under GCA's banner to combat the worst of the worst, to neutralize the pedophiles, groomers, blackmailers, cultists, terrorists hiding in our midst. If you never remembered any actual cultists or terrorists being in the gacha community, we are honored.

"I'm a gacha user, why should I care?"You shouldn't. Its best you don't, actually.The Gacha Community Association's lifeline is the apathy of the gacha community. From its very foundation, the Association has held an unofficial memorandum of understanding with the biggest gachatubers and leaders of the gacha community, in every generation. Even as the gacha community has the purest, strongest, and most innocent of ethics and morals, it was understood that in order to protect these ideals, a select few would need to bear the burden, the trauma, the tears and blood needed to decimate those who do not subscribe to such beautiful ideals, those that are not worthy of the innocent, admirable forgiveness the gacha community would give even to those who would spit on it and continue to harm its children.The Gacha Community Association has for years worked and sacrificed in silence to uphold the peace of the gacha community, to assure the children that they are safe and that they worse they have to worry about are "gacha heat", mean comments, and people calling them "gacha kids".The truth is, the gacha community is essentially extraordinarily vulnerable, especially during its infancy, due to its young demographic, inexperience towards threats, gullibility, tendency to fear and blame each other when there is clearly a true enemy that does not belong, and more. There was evidence that those in malicious communities, such as those involved in extorting CSAM from minors, or extremist satanists that prided themselves in infiltrating child based communities to force self harm upon children through threats and lies, would have preferred to target the gacha community over older similar subcultures like the furries and even therians / alterhumans / otherkin, alongside the LGBTQ+ community and those with mental vulnerabilities.The fact remains that even as of today, gacha is still regularly mentioned in the remnants of these communities, now greatly weakened and decimated by international authorities and through their own division and infighting due to lack of intelligence. The Association's work however, continues, albeit in a more relaxed way, now that the gacha community has, after a few years, wobbly and tearfully learnt to stand up after every little fall, falls that the Association have still cushioned enough so that it in effect does not damage, injure or otherwise demoralize the gacha community in any meaningful way.Knobs were turned, tears and blood were spilled and cleaned, cries were comforted, those who laughed at it were silenced. It is a fact that most major event of the gacha community had some element of GCA involvement. Acting as a trusted advisor and counselor, the Association has been at the beck and call of gachatubers big and small, for years. The members of the Association were no older than those it serves. They were children too, but whilst most children came to the gacha community for comfort, friends, to cure boredom, to find a belonging, children of the Association ventured into the dark to protect this third place, even if it meant sacrificing their childhood, their innocence, their mental health, their sanity, their blissful world view, their absolute everything.Do not thank the Association, the Association hanks you. The Association thanks the gacha community for giving it a purpose. Whilst our adversaries decried us for succumbing to the mundane, we struck back with what the gacha community taught us, in defense of every single child, teen, and young adult that relied on it.Many were hurt, one was lost. Her name was Mena Willis, may her memory be a blessing.But hey, maybe we are stupid and childish, and laughable for doing so much just for a "kids dressup game community". To us, it was worth it.All we ask in return is that you let us do what we need to do. The Gacha Community Association unfortunately cannot afford to have the moral high ground that most of the gacha community champions, morals that the Association treasures and fights for. But even when we combat the most despicable, the Association has pledged and vowed to never turn our sword against the gacha community. No matter how bad it becomes, a day that the Association stands is a day that the gacha community will stand. A promise kept.If you see a GCA member while wandering around the gacha community, we do not ask for your compliance, or your deference or respect, even. We do not glorify the dirty things we have done in the name of the gacha community, we are not proud of it, and we do not want everyone to know. Just perhaps, don't look at them like a criminal, or a terrorist. They were troubled, made mistakes, perhaps they didn't even contribute much, but they did what they thought was best to protect a community they saw as family, a family that you are now apart of.
